i, batsheva, SINGER is a concert for the fringes
and the masses. A cross (you should pardon the expression) between Theodore Bikel and
Tom Lehrer, but from a distinctly feminine voice.

A little Nana, a little Chava, a little "Harvey and
Sheila." And that is just for the Ashkenaz in you.

Then there is the Ladino... The Judeo-Spanish
counterpoint to the Eastern European beat.
Gypsy Kings-uh-Queen.

After that, the satire and the comedy. Ouch.

...the ballads ...her writing ...there is more,
but you'd have to be there.
